A note from Lizzo

I'm a proud Houston woman— I’ve celebrated Juneteenth for many years, and it’s incredible to watch our Texan holiday become national. This holiday has always been about liberation. It’s our Independence Day. And lately, I’ve used it as an opportunity to give back to the people who deserve it.

This year, I am using my platform to support these grassroots Black organizations: Cultural Wellness Center MinneapolisWest Broadway Area Coalition, and Black Women's Wealth Alliance. They are doing the real work on the frontlines of progress and I’m honored to help them in any way I can. I have partnered with Local Initiatives Support Corp. (LISC) to get your donations directly to these local organizations.

We have experienced a long history of being devalued and having our businesses destroyed and our communities deprived of true economic support. Let’s give back by putting value into Black creators and workers!

For only a $10 minimum donation, you’ll be entered to win a trip to join me at the sold-out 2021 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, where I'll be the first Black woman to headline this festival, and where we'll be celebrating the contributions that Black artists have made to American music and culture.

With this grand prize, you can expect the full Lizzo experience! You and a guest will be coming down South to Tennessee, with travel and accommodations taken care of. You’ll get festival passes AND special pit access during my set, along with some exclusive autographed Bonnaroo merch.

In order for there to be real change, everyone must do their part. So thank you for supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, Black businesses and these incredible organizations.
